I began playing the piano sitting on my father's knee when I was 3. At first I loved twirling on the swivel stool nearly as much as playing the notes. My love of music expanded into dance and piano lessons. Life's busy-ness pulled me away during adulthood, until tragedy reminded me that life is short. I decided to pursue my lifelong passions; teaching and piano. I certified as a music teacher and opened a new business, the Glendale Piano Studio, in northern Ontario. I enjoyed performing with the North Bay Symphony Orchestra and taught at a local elementary school. I moved to Kingston over a decade ago, where I continue teaching piano. I love this city and the Isabel Bader Center, where I attend as many concerts as I can. I have sung with the She Sings choir and the Kingston Choral Society and now I am enjoying singing with the Isabel Voices.
