GALA WINE DINNER AT OLIVEA RESTAURANT

Our winter fundraising evening was a tremendous success!

Special thanks to Stev George and Deanna Harrington of Olivea and Riva Restaurants, and Bobbi Pecorino’s Italian Wine Bar, as well as wine expert Rob Elvy, for their continued sponsorship and wonderful generosity in hosting our Gala Wine Dinner at Olivea Restaurant on Tuesday, January 28, 2025!

Guests enjoyed an an unforgettable evening of northern Italian flavours, fine wines, and exquisite music, featuring members of The Isabel Voices — all set against a backdrop of lightly falling snow around beautiful Market Square in downtown Kingston. The event was a fabulous success in raising funds for our trip to England this spring, where we will proudly represent Kingston and Canada in the European premiere of Dan Forrest’s CREATION at Ely Cathedral.

A Night on Broadway

The Isabel Voices has been invited to perform at Ely Cathedral in Cambridge, UK in June 2025! We are thrilled to sing Dan Forrest's new work, CREATION, and also to open the concert with a solo performance of the European premiere of the breath of life. This is an enormous honour for us, already marking an exciting milestone at just the beginning of our journey as an organization! Proud to call the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts its home, The Isabel Voices has established itself as a leading force in the Kingston music scene. Known for its dynamic, collaborative performances and commitment to excellence, The Isabel Voices is accepting new singers to join for its second season in 2024-25.

Rehearsals will begin on Monday evenings in September 2024 at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts.
